Chloride-Urine
What does Chloride-Urine measure?
The Chloride-Urine test measures the amount of chloride, an electrolyte, in urine. Chloride helps maintain fluid balance and acid-base balance in the body. This test may be used to assess electrolyte balance, investigate possible causes of abnormal blood chloride levels, or support evaluation of certain kidney, hormonal, or fluid-balance conditions. Results are interpreted along with symptoms, medical history, and other laboratory tests.
