Glucose Random (R)
What does Glucose Random (R) measure?
A random glucose test measures the level of glucose (sugar) in the blood at the time of testing, regardless of when a person last ate. It may be used to assess possible high or low blood sugar, support evaluation of symptoms such as increased thirst, frequent urination, tiredness, sweating, or dizziness, and help monitor glucose levels in people with known diabetes. Results are interpreted alongside symptoms, medical history, and other tests.
