RBC Count
What does RBC Count measure?
The RBC count measures the number of red blood cells in the blood. Red blood cells carry oxygen from the lungs to tissues throughout the body. This test may be ordered as part of a complete blood count to help evaluate symptoms such as tiredness, weakness, dizziness, or shortness of breath. It may also help assess conditions that can affect red blood cell production, loss, or breakdown. Results are interpreted alongside other blood tests and clinical information.
