Chikungunya IgG
What does Chikungunya IgG measure?
This test detects IgG antibodies to chikungunya virus, which may develop after infection and can remain present for a long time. It may be used to help assess past exposure to chikungunya, particularly in people with a history of fever, joint pain, rash, or travel to areas where the virus is common. Results should be interpreted along with symptoms, timing of illness, and other relevant tests.
