IHC - Bcl2 - (Outlab)
What does IHC - Bcl2 - (Outlab) measure?
This immunohistochemistry (IHC) test detects Bcl-2 protein expression in tissue cells. Bcl-2 is involved in regulating cell survival and programmed cell death. The test may be used to help assess certain cancers, particularly lymphomas and other tumors, and to support distinction between different tissue patterns when reviewed with other laboratory findings. Results are interpreted by a pathologist in the context of microscopic appearance, clinical history, and additional tests.
