IHC - CD45(LCA) - (Outlab)
What does IHC - CD45(LCA) - (Outlab) measure?
This immunohistochemistry (IHC) test detects CD45, also called leukocyte common antigen (LCA), in tissue cells. CD45 is commonly present on most white blood cells and is used to help identify whether abnormal cells are of blood or lymphoid origin. It may be ordered when evaluating suspected lymphoma, leukemia involvement in tissue, or other conditions where distinguishing immune cells from non-immune cells is important. Results are interpreted along with tissue appearance and other marker tests.
