IHC - Calretinin - (Outlab)
What does IHC - Calretinin - (Outlab) measure?
Calretinin immunohistochemistry (IHC) is a tissue-based test that detects calretinin, a protein found in certain normal and abnormal cells. It may be used to help classify tumours and distinguish mesothelial cells from other cell types, including in the evaluation of some cancers involving the lining of the chest or abdomen. Results are interpreted with tissue appearance, other IHC markers, and clinical information.
