What does IHC - D2 - 40 - (Outlab) measure?
D2-40 is an immunohistochemistry (IHC) stain that detects podoplanin, a marker commonly present in lymphatic endothelial cells and some other tissues and tumours. It may be used to highlight lymphatic vessels, assess possible lymphatic vessel invasion by a tumour, or support the evaluation of certain mesothelial, germ cell, and other tumour types. Results are interpreted alongside tissue appearance and other laboratory findings.
