IHC - Kappa - (Outlab)
What does IHC - Kappa - (Outlab) measure?
This immunohistochemistry (IHC) test detects kappa light chain expression in tissue cells. Kappa light chains are components of antibodies produced by plasma cells and certain B cells. The test may help evaluate whether a population of plasma cells or lymphoid cells shows a predominantly kappa pattern, which can support assessment of suspected plasma cell or B-cell disorders. Results are interpreted together with tissue findings, other IHC markers, and clinical information.
