IHC - Mum-1 - (Outlab)
What does IHC - Mum-1 - (Outlab) measure?
This immunohistochemistry (IHC) test detects MUM1, a protein marker that may be present in certain blood and lymphatic system cells and related tumors. It may be used to help classify lymphomas and plasma cell disorders, and to distinguish between different types of abnormal cells when examined with other tissue markers. Results are interpreted by a pathologist alongside tissue appearance, medical history, and other laboratory findings.
