IHC - P63 - (Outlab)
What does IHC - P63 - (Outlab) measure?
This immunohistochemistry (IHC) test evaluates p63, a protein marker assessed in tissue cells. It may be used to help identify and characterize certain epithelial and basal cell patterns in biopsy or surgical tissue specimens. In pathology, p63 staining can support the evaluation of lesions in organs such as the breast, prostate, lung, skin, or salivary glands. Results are interpreted by a pathologist along with tissue appearance and other relevant tests.
