What does AML1/ETO (AML - M2) - (Outlab) measure?
This test detects the AML1/ETO fusion marker, also known as RUNX1-RUNX1T1, which is associated with a subtype of acute myeloid leukemia (AML-M2). It may be used to support evaluation of suspected leukemia, assist in classification of AML, or help monitor a known AML1/ETO-positive condition over time. Results should be interpreted together with blood findings, bone marrow assessment, and other clinical information.
