What does ALLERGY CHICK PEA ( BY PHADIA) measure?
This test measures allergen-specific IgE antibodies to chickpea. It may be used to help evaluate whether an immune response to chickpea could be associated with suspected food allergy symptoms or reactions after eating foods containing chickpea. Results are interpreted along with medical history, symptoms, and other allergy assessments, as a positive result indicates sensitization and does not by itself confirm clinical allergy.
