CA-125
What does CA-125 measure?
The CA-125 test measures the level of cancer antigen 125, a protein that can be present in the blood. It may be used to help monitor certain ovarian cancers during or after treatment, assess response to treatment, or check for possible recurrence. CA-125 levels can also rise in non-cancerous conditions, so results are interpreted alongside medical history, examination findings, and other tests.
