LEPTOSPIRA-IgM
What does LEPTOSPIRA-IgM measure?
This test detects IgM antibodies against Leptospira bacteria, which can indicate a recent or current immune response to infection. It may be used when a healthcare professional is evaluating suspected leptospirosis based on clinical findings and possible exposure history. Results should be interpreted along with symptoms, timing of illness, and other laboratory tests, as IgM antibodies may not be detectable early in infection.
