TISSUE TRANSGLUTAMINASE (TTG) ANTIBODY, IGA (CLIA)
What does TISSUE TRANSGLUTAMINASE (TTG) ANTIBODY, IGA (CLIA) measure?
This test measures IgA antibodies against tissue transglutaminase (tTG), an immune marker commonly associated with coeliac disease. It may be used to help evaluate people with suspected gluten-related intestinal immune disease, monitor antibody levels in those being assessed for coeliac disease, or support further clinical evaluation when relevant symptoms or risk factors are present. Results should be interpreted alongside clinical history and other relevant tests.
